This is a great art project for kids - my grandchildren loved this! I would highly recommend this nice kit!

  2. Makes a Great Gift

Posted by Karen M Klimowicz on 17th Jul 2013

I gave this to my granddaughter for Christmas- she loved it! It's already framed and on the wall. Will consider giving her another one for her birthday- she is in 6th grade.

  3. Lovely, but needs a gentle hand with pastels

Posted by Susan E. Ashley on 17th Jul 2013

My 7 yr old had a problem with using pastels; they broke when pressed on too hard. But her 8 yr old friend had NO trouble at all. Both made lovely 'paintings' and really loved the process. Learned a bit about using pastels, which can be saved to use in conjunction with paint on other projects. I see this kits as steps to more efforts; not an end unto themselves. Following ideas other have brought to this site is very helpful, as adult supervision does indeed make for good teaching, when necessary. And younger kids can use/do what their skill set allows with great media inclosed. Do save boxes, instructions for more projects!

  4. GIFT
